01 Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you represent that:

• You are at least 16 years of age
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• You will comply with these Terms and all applicable laws
• All information you provide is accurate and truthful

02 Description of Service

ReadyRez provides an AI-powered resume optimization service that:

• Parses and extracts information from uploaded resumes
• Analyzes job descriptions provided by users
• Generates optimized resume content tailored to specific job listings
• Produces downloadable PDF resumes in various templates

03 User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features, you must create an account using Sign In with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3.2 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, including for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse of the Service or its resources
• Non-payment of applicable fees

04 Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Free Tier

New users receive one (1) free resume optimization. After the free optimization is used, a paid subscription or single-use purchase is required for additional optimizations.

We offer the following paid options:

All payments are processed through Apple's App Store. By purchasing a subscription:

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings

4.4 Refunds

All purchases are subject to Apple's refund policies. We do not directly process refunds. To request a refund, please contact Apple Support or use the "Report a Problem" feature in your purchase history.

4.5 Usage Limits

Optimization limits reset according to your billing cycle. Unused optimizations do not roll over to the next period. We reserve the right to enforce usage limits and may restrict access if limits are exceeded.

05 User Content and Responsibilities

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Service, including resumes and job descriptions ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, process, and store your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

5.2 Content Accuracy

You are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy and truthfulness of your resume content
• Reviewing and verifying all AI-generated suggestions before use
• Ensuring your resume does not contain false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations

5.3 Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Submit content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Use automated systems or bots to access the Service
• Circumvent usage limits or security measures
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the Service to create resumes for third parties without their consent
• Submit malicious content or attempt to exploit the AI system

06 Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Property

The Service, including its design, features, code, templates, and branding, is owned by ReadyRez and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or other proprietary content.

6.2 Generated Content

AI-generated resume content is provided to you for your personal use. You may use, modify, and distribute your optimized resumes for legitimate job-seeking purposes.

07 Disclaimers

7.1 No Guarantee of Results

We do not guarantee that:

• Using the Service will result in job interviews or employment
• Optimized resumes will pass any specific Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
• AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your needs
• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Match scores or metrics provided are indicative of actual hiring outcomes

7.2 Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers including Anthropic (AI processing), Supabase (hosting), and Apple (authentication and payments). We are not responsible for the performance, availability, or actions of these third parties.

7.3 AI Limitations

Artificial intelligence systems have inherent limitations and may:

• Generate inaccurate or inappropriate content
• Fail to understand context or nuance
• Produce content that requires human review and correction
• Not reflect the latest industry standards or best practices

08 Limitation of Liability

• Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
• Loss of data or content
• Failure to obtain employment or interviews
• Damages arising from use of AI-generated content
• Damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account
• Damages caused by third-party services or actions
• Any damages exceeding the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability for certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

09 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ReadyRez and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your User Content
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Any claim that your resume contains false, misleading, or fraudulent information

10 Dispute Resolution

10.1 Informal Resolution

Before filing any formal legal action, you agree to contact us at support@readyrez.app and attempt to resolve any dispute informally for at least 30 days.

10.2 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10.3 Arbitration

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association's rules. The arbitration shall take place in Dallas, Texas. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

11 Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Posting the updated Terms in the app
• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Sending a notification through the app (for significant changes)

Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service.

12 General Provisions

12.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ReadyRez regarding the Service.

12.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

12.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

12.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.

12.5 Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, internet outages, or third-party service failures.
