Important: By using ReadyRez, you acknowledge that your resume content and job descriptions are processed using artificial intelligence services provided by third parties. Please read this policy carefully to understand our practices.
01 Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account Information: When you create an account using Sign In with Apple, we receive your name (if you choose to share it), email address (or Apple's private relay email), and a unique Apple User ID.
- Resume Content: The text content extracted from resumes you upload, including personal details (name, contact information, employment history, education, skills).
- Job Listing Information: Job descriptions, company names, job titles, and source URLs you provide for resume optimization.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device Identifier: A locally-generated anonymous identifier stored on your device.
- Usage Data: Information about your interactions with the Service, including optimization counts, template preferences, and feature usage.
- Transaction Data: Records of in-app purchases processed through Apple's App Store.
1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect location data
- We do not access your contacts, photos, or other device data
- We do not use advertising trackers or analytics SDKs
- We do not collect payment card information (all payments are processed by Apple)
02 How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide the Service: Process your resumes, generate optimized versions, and deliver PDF downloads.
- AI Processing: Send your resume content and job descriptions to our AI service provider for optimization.
- Manage Your Account: Authenticate you, track your subscription status, and enforce usage limits.
- Improve the Service: Understand how users interact with our features to make improvements.
- Customer Support: Respond to your inquiries and resolve issues.
- Legal Compliance: Comply with applicable laws and enforce our Terms of Service.
03 Third-Party Service Providers
We share your information with the following third-party service providers who process data on our behalf:

AI Processing Notice: Your resume content and job descriptions are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for AI-powered optimization. Anthropic processes this data according to their Privacy Policy and Usage Policies. We encourage you to review these policies.
04 Data Storage and Security
4.1 Where We Store Data
Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Supabase. Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Database access is protected by row-level security policies ensuring you can only access your own data.
4.2 Data Retention
- Account Data: Retained until you delete your account.
- Resume Data: Retained until you manually delete it or delete your account.
- Optimized Resumes: Retained until you delete them from your history or delete your account.
- Purchase Records: Retained for legal and accounting purposes as required by law.
4.3 Security Measures
We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- All API keys stored server-side only, never exposed to the app
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
- Row-level security on database tables
- Secure authentication via Sign In with Apple
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
05 Your Rights and Choices
5.1 Access and Deletion
You have the right to:
- Access: View all your stored resumes and optimizations within the app.
- Delete: Delete individual optimizations from your history, or delete your entire account by contacting us.
- Data Portability: Download your optimized resumes as PDF files.
5.2 Account Deletion
To request complete deletion of your account and all associated data, please contact us at support@readyrez.app. We will process your request within 30 days.
5.3 Opt-Out
The core functionality of ReadyRez requires AI processing of your resume data. If you do not wish to have your data processed by our AI service provider, please do not use the Service.
06 Children's Privacy
ReadyRez is not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 16, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.
07 International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from the laws of your country. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries.
08 California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Opt-out of the "sale" of personal information (we do not sell personal information)
